Call for Volunteers & Career Mentorship The Hill Emissaries is opening its doors once again to passionate individuals who are ready to grow, serve, and make meaningful impact. This opportunity is designed for students seeking admission, undergraduates, fresh graduates, and corps members who desire more than just experience. It is for individuals who want structured growth, hands-on responsibility, and intentional mentorship within a purpose-driven community. Whether you are applying as a volunteer or seeking career mentorship, this program provides a platform to develop your skills, expand your capacity, and contribute to real initiatives that create visible impact. Who Can Apply We welcome applications from: Students preparing for university admission Undergraduates Fresh graduates Corps members If you are committed, teachable, and willing to show up consistently, there is a place for you here. Volunteer Roles Available We are currently onboarding individuals in the following areas: Social Media Management Graphic Design Content Creation Video Editing Outreach and Community Engagement Each role comes with practical responsibilities, collaborative teamwork, and opportunities to lead projects. Christmas Giveaway Outreach
Christmas Outreach – Season of Giving Completed During the Christmas season, The Hill Emissaries took to the streets to share joy, kindness, and the true message of the season. This outreach was a simple but meaningful effort to remind people that Christmas is not only a time of celebration, but also a time to show love, generosity, and compassion to others. Members of the team went out into the community to connect with people, share moments of encouragement, and distribute gift items as an expression of goodwill. It was a heartfelt experience as smiles were shared, conversations were sparked, and the message of Christ as the reason for the season was spread. The outreach created small but memorable moments for many who encountered the team that day. It was a reminder that acts of kindness, no matter how simple, can bring warmth and hope to people during the holiday season. Our Christmas outreach continues to reflect the heart of The Hill Emissaries: serving people, spreading hope, and sharing the love of Christ in practical ways. Felykris School Outreach
School Outreach – Felykris Schools Completed As part of our commitment to community impact and youth development, The Hill Emissaries carried out a school outreach program at Felykris Schools, reaching students with meaningful conversations, mentorship, and encouragement. The outreach was designed to inspire students toward discipline, personal growth, and intentional living. Through engaging discussions and interactions, students were challenged to think about their future, their values, and the kind of individuals they aspire to become. During the visit, books were distributed to support learning and encourage a culture of reading and self-development among the students. The atmosphere was lively, reflective, and deeply impactful, as many students expressed renewed motivation and a clearer sense of direction. The session created a space for students to ask questions, share their thoughts, and receive guidance that extended beyond the classroom. The Felykris Schools outreach remains one of the meaningful moments in our journey so far, reminding us of the power of showing up, speaking truth, and investing in the next generation. Volunteer Cohort I Applications
Volunteer Cohort I – Genesis Guild Applications Closed Our first volunteer cohort marked the beginning of a defining season for The Hill Emissaries. Following a strong response and a large pool of applications, we conducted a careful review and selection process, ultimately streamlining the cohort to ten committed individuals. These volunteers embarked on an intensive six-month training program designed to build capacity across spiritual growth, personal development, leadership formation, and practical execution. The program was structured to be rigorous and transformational. Participants engaged in disciplined reading sessions, reflective assignments, team-based projects, outreach coordination, media production, and consistent accountability systems. The training demanded consistency, responsibility, and growth in character as much as skill. Cohort I, known as the Genesis Guild, worked closely with the core team and played an active role in outreach initiatives, media production, content development, and operational execution. It was a season of stretching, learning, collaboration, and visible impact. This cohort has officially concluded, and applications for this phase are now closed. However, the journey continues. Scholarship 1.0 – Inaugural Award Cycle Completed The Hill Emissaries Scholarship 1.0 marked our first official educational support initiative, designed to assist students who demonstrate commitment, clarity, and a strong desire to advance in their academic journey. Following a wide call for applications, we received a significant number of submissions from qualified and promising candidates. After a structured review process, shortlisting, and interviews, selected recipients were awarded a one-off scholarship support grant to aid their academic pursuits. This inaugural cycle reflects our commitment to investing in people, not just programs. Beyond financial support, the scholarship represents our belief in empowering students to continue striving for excellence and growth. Scholarship 1.0 has officially concluded, and recipients have been selected and notified. We remain committed to expanding this initiative. The session created an interactive environment where students were encouraged to reflect on their potential, make thoughtful choices about their future, and understand the importance of personal responsibility and character. Community Outreach – LAFF Foundation (Life Anchor Faith Foundation) Completed One of the earliest outreach efforts of The Hill Emissaries was a visit to Life Anchor Faith Foundation (LAFF), a home dedicated to caring for and supporting children while helping to build their lives with guidance, structure, and hope. During this outreach, members of The Hill Emissaries visited the foundation to spend time with the children and support the work being done there. The team shared meaningful moments with them, offering encouragement, conversation, and practical support through the donation of materials and essential items. It was more than just a visit. It was an opportunity to connect, to listen, and to remind the children that they are seen, valued, and capable of great things. The atmosphere was warm and lively, filled with laughter, interaction, and genuine care. The outreach to LAFF Foundation remains a memorable part of our journey, reflecting the heart of The Hill Emissaries to reach out, support communities, and invest in people wherever the opportunity presents itself.
